First public release. Freeware for X-Plane 12, built on the default Laminar Research A330-300.
Airframe
- Fuselage shortened to the −200 length: 3.18 m ahead of the wing and 2.10 m behind it.
- The −200 fin: wider chord and a tip 0.50 m higher than the −300's.
- Window layout of the −200, including the 12th window between doors 1 and 2.
- Cabin, camera collision and cargo holds shortened to match.
- Jetway connects at door 2L.
Flight model
- Weights of the −200: empty 122.6 t, fuel 111.3 t, MTOW 242 t.
- Flight model geometry, landing gear, engines, tanks and load stations moved to the −200 positions.
Systems
- MCDU A/C STATUS page shows A330-200 and the selected engine.
- SimBrief on the MCDU (Windows): route, flight number, cruise level, fuel and zero fuel weight.
- MASTER WARNING now lights when the autopilot is disconnected.
- FLEX take-off: thrust no longer jumps when crossing 2,500 ft.
Engines
- Rolls-Royce Trent 700 included.
- GE CF6-80E1 and PW4000 supported through Carda's free mods (separate download), selected by livery name or from the Plugins menu.
Textures and liveries
- White base livery in 8K.
- Virgin Australia VH-XFJ, SWISS HB-IQA and Air France F-GZCL in 8K.
- Door and service placards redrawn, readable up close.
- Paint kit in 8K and 4K, as a separate download.
